MEDIFIT STUDY REPORT – Sleep pattern study.
AIM:
Prospective study to evaluate sleep pattern, Anxiety and Problem solving skills of subjects doing workout versus people who are not doing workout. All subjects are from age group of 25 to 40 years.
Total Subjects – 1080
540 subjects from Workout Group &
540 subjects from Non Workout Group.
OBJECTIVE:
- Primary objective: To study sleep pattern, Anxiety and Problem solving skill in subjects doing workout more that 2 years and people who are not doing workout for more that 2 years.
AGE GROUP: 25 to 40 years.
Total Subjects – 540
- Secondary Objective: To compare sleep pattern, Anxiety and Problem solving skill in subjects doing workout more that 2 years and people who are not doing workout for more that 2 years.

RESULT:
This study has been conducted in 540 subjects in each group. We found 49% workout group have good sleep pattern compare to 21 % in non workout group.28 % very good sleep pattern in workout group compare 5 % in non workout group. Moderate sleep pattern 24% in non workout group compare 16% in workout group. 50% low sleep in non workout group evaluate to 6% in workout group. Found 18% of Anxiety problem in workout group evaluate to 66% in non workout group. Found 90% of easily problem solving skill in workout group compare to 35% in non workout group.

Discussion:
- Study result illustrate that proportion of good and very good sleep pattern in more in workout than non workout group.
- Anxiety problem is observed more in non workout group compare to very less in workout group
- Highest percentage of problem solving skill in workout group rather less in non workout group
Conclusion:
- Study conclude that sleep pattern enhanced in workout group
- Anxiety problems are minimal in workout group.
- Better problem solving skills in workout group.
